Wagga Wagga Beach Caravan Park - Wagga Wagga NSW
Wagga Wagga Beach Caravan Park is located next to the Murrumbidgee River and, yes, there is a sandy beach on the river. The park is within walking distance of the main part of town and is peaceful and quiet. The park has 150 sites of which 127 are powered. The area for tents and campers is shady and well grassed. Pets are welcome but not allowed in cabins. The park has a good layout and amenities are adequate. We stayed at this Park on Tuesday 30th October 2012 expecting to stay 3 nights.
The site allocated to us could not fit our 21 foot van so we were allocated another site. Shortly after we set up the Park Manager called to say that we would have to relocate to another site the next day as they had a booking for 3 sites all together.
We had a thorough look around and found that all the sites were in very poor condition, many had grossly uneven surfaces and the park was quite dirty and dusty.
It would appear that this park has been neglected for many years and given the layout and existing infrastructure it would require a total make over to bring the Park up to a 2 or 3 star rating.
Don't be fooled by the photos the park is a disgrace.
