Wagga Wagga is a city of 57,000 people situated 455km south west of Sydney. Wagga Wagga has the honour of being the largest inland city in NSW. The economy of the area was built on dairying, farming, cattle and fat lambs. Tertiary education is now a major contributor to the local economy. The Murrumbidgee River runs through the town and the locals have developed their own beach on the river near the city centre. The town has lovely parks and excellent tourist facilities. The Sturt Mall is the major shopping centre and accommodates many major national stores.
