Tenterfield Lodge Caravan Parkis a nice park situated within easy walking distance the old Tenterfield Railway Station and Railway Museum. The park is very quiet being 1km from the highway.. Facilities at the park are good and on site owners Barry and Di are committed to keeping the park in tip top condition. The park has some comfortable cabins for rent and they are well maintained. The park is pet friendly and fires are allowed provided an enclosed container on legs. Bookings can be made by telephoning the park and please tell them that you have seen their photos on Caravan Park Photos.
We join in with Kevin Rogers comments wholeheartedly - it is truly a little gem that we're glad we found... and come back to. Thank you Jim

This is a little gem of a park. Beautiful grassed sites and super clean amenities which actually smell nice too. It has a spacious TV appointed camp kitchen and is only a 2 minute walk from the famous Railway Museum. It is a nice quiet park with proud resident owners. Pets are okay too! I highly recommend this park. Stay in Tenterfield for at least 3 days and do the historic walk, scenic lookout drive and much much more. Famous for the Tenterfield Saddler (Peter Allen's Grandfather, George Woolnough), JF Thomas (Breaker Morant's Lawyer), Sir Henry Parkes (Australia's father of Federation), Captain Thunderbolt (Bushranger) and of course Peter Allen. The park has new resident owners since around the beginning of 2012, Jim and Julie, who are both very conscious and proud of keeping the Park in tip top condition...it is a true credit to them and their 3 star rating belies the quality within.
