Levi Park Caravan Park is located at situated next to the beautiful Levi Park in Lansdowne Terrace, Walkerville. The park is only 4km from the Adelaide CBD. The park has 84 sites of which 64 are tourist. A good range of cabin accommodation is available. The park is a member of the Top Tourist Park network. The park now allows small dogs to a few sites but please check with the park prior to confirming your booking.
One of Adelaide's historic houses, Vale House, is located in the middle of the park. Adjacent to Vale House is arguably Australia's finest, and largest, example of a morton bay fig tree. The tree is estimated to be at least 100 years old.
The park is in a quiet location. Your hosts are Ian and Marie Baum. Bookings can be made by telephoning the park and please tell the park that you have seen their photos on Caravan Park Photos. Photos on this page were taken on 9th June 2006.
Recent photos on this page were kindly supplied by our roving reporter Ross Bignell in August 2013.
Consulted with park months in advance that there was a group of us, and they were more than happy to accommodate us at their park. Full disclosure of the amount of people were provided on every communication. Over 7 months notice was given and cabins were fully paid for 6 months in advance, but when we arrived, staff were extremely rude and didn’t even want to remove pool cover for our kids to use the paid for ammenities at 4 in the afternoon (don’t believe it’s heated either as they certainly don’t want to pay to heat it).
Many people received completely dated and disgusting cabins - certainly not what was described and one smelt heavily of gas and when notified, staff completely ignored them! One cabin was leaning so heavily the door wouldn’t stay closed unless locked and ours was full of ants around the kitchen on arrival.
A small gathering in an area of only our cabins was rudely told by aggressive staff to “go to bed” and “no noise at all” and “no socialising” at 9:55pm on a Friday evening and we were asked to leave the next day… the entire group of which about half had been in bed with no idea what had happened. We were told no refund would be given for our next two nights and were forced to pay for accomodation elsewhere… even the half of us tucked up in bed were not allowed a refund or an explanation.
Do yourself a favour and NEVER attend this park… it certainly does not live up to the made up descriptions and the managers just want the bookings and to not actually want anyone to attend their park. Our money was essentially stolen… and it felt very much like they have done this many times before.

This park gives its address as Vale Park, they say Walkerville is the adjoining suburb. The park now allows dogs, but at a cost of $3 per day, I dont know how they justify that. Their attitude is take it or go elsewhere. And we are all allocated to dog alley, a very tight bunch of sites at the front of the park and quite a distance from the amenities. A bit disappointing because the park is okay otherwise.
