Ayers Rock Campground - Yulara NT

The Ayers Rock Campground is located at Yulara Drive Yulara. The park has 448 tourist sites and all but 250 of these are powered. The park is pet friendly. Resident Manager is Kim Mulholland.

Clare and Phil write: "Uluru Caravan park is 25 kms from Uluru and is owned by the Voyages consortium and as expected the cost is dearer than normal @ $39 for a powered site, but the amenities are very good, all sites are stone and gravel, but have power and water to the site.

As its considered a remote site be prepared for high prices both at the fuel pump and in the resort shops and market.

The resort runs all types of tours to Uluru and surrounding areas, or you can pay $25 a head for a three day pass to enter the National park and drive yourself, all roads to Uluru are sealed and well marked.

Due to the presents of Dingos which often walk through the park, you are advised to keep your dog close to you on a lead and in the van of a night, be well prepared for them and they do howl during the night.
