There are some parks that have a friendly atmosphere and are welcoming, some that are not. Unfortunately this park falls into the second category, we will not stop here again. It advertises itself as Pet friendly, but it is not. On arriving at the Park i went into pay for a night or two whilst my wife got our little dog out of the car. As she hit the ground the Manager says to me, "Put the dog on the lead". This is before we had paid or read the conditions. If you read the conditions later you will find they are not pet friendly at all, far from it. On the second day I was putting up our awning and noticed that the resident flock of feral Pigeons had fouled the canvas. I got half a bucket of water and cleaned the mess off, only to have the manager once again most impolitely tell me that I could not wash my Van in the park. I explained to him the we weren't, we were merely getting the pigeon excrement off the canvas. He then said icould do that outside the park. I said he was being unreasonable as the Pigeons were resident in the Park and causing damage. He answered by saying they had more rights to be there than I did. Wonderful people skills, don't you think/. Woomera is practically a ghost town and needs our Tourist custom to survive. This sort of attitude doesn't help. I don't know who owns this Park but they need to have a chat with their present Manager. He did reveal to me that he had been a prison Guard. It shows.
