Weipa Camping Ground and Caravan Park is located at the end of Newbold Drive in Weipa. There are 90 powered and 400 unpowered sites available for caravans, campers and motorhomes. A good selection of cottages and cabins is available for rent. The park has absolute beachfront and is well maintained. Magic place. Large camping ground with big trees with mango trees predominating. Big amenities blocks. Wide spaces for campers. Delighftul pool and waterfall and a good shop. Beautiful beach with crocodile alert. Weipa has a large mining operation of bauxite extraction. Huge trucks on the haul road every day. You need a tough van or 4WD to get here.
