The town of Warren is situated on the Macquarie River in the central west of NSW 559km from Sydney. Warren Shire covers an area of over 10,000 square kilometers and has a total population of 3,374 people. The town is definitely worth visiting. It has a unique charm and is free of the bland homogenous commercialisation that occurs in larger towns with shopping centres full of the same type of stores you would find in Western Sydney. The town has an excellent golf course and good amenities. The town is flat and easy to explore. Local people are friendly and welcoming. Warren is not a town that you pass on the way to somewhere else. It is a town that people visit because they want to go there. I hope these photos will encourage you to do so.
