Tocumwal is a small town of 1,450 people located north of Cobram on the NSW/Victoria border. The town is 619km south-west of Sydney. During the Second World War Tocumwal was the site of the largest aerodrome in the South Pacific. Today it is a peaceful rural community and it is hard to believe that so many aircraft came and went from this area. The town has some colorful buildings and aircraft symbols are found everywhere. The old railway bridge across the Murray is worth exploring.
