Tin Can Bay Tourist Park is a delightful, well run park in a quiet area of Tin Can Bay. The park has excellent facilities including some of the best laid roads I have seen in any park. The park is a member of the Top Tourist Park group. The park has an inground pool. Modern amenities block, ensuite sites for caravans and a camp kitchen. Bookings can be made by telephoning the park and please tell the park that you have seen their photos on Caravan Park Photos. Photos on this page were taken on the 11th August 2011. More recent photos on this page were supplied by our roving reporter Sherallee Schubert in February 2013 and Russell Barter in August 2013.

Absolutely the best caravan park in Tin Can Bay, as described by previous posters. The other parks are nearer the water but nowhere near as nice. The town itself is tiny, there is an IGA and a few other shops, that's all. About 10k's away is a place called Cooloola Cove which has a small shopping centre, including a Woolworths. The nearest major centre is Gympie, 50 odd Klms away.

The young couple running this park are working to upgrade and improve every aspect of this park, cannot do enough to help you in a friendly and professional manner. We will be back and feeding the dolphins is another reason to return to Tin Can Bay.

Ian is the host and is a very friendly and helpful guy. He offered to help us to our site. We stayed in an ensuite site and the bathrooms are huge. While we were there we noticed that some of the ensuites were being renovated. All the sites have cables for your TV so the reception is exellent. The park is not posh but neat and tidy and good value for money and everyone is friendly. The park is quiet and there is no road noise. The park offers ensuites and slab sites as well as at the rear of the park is very open and has grassed sites with trees and is capable of taking big rigs. There is a camp kitchen with BBQs and fridge and nice inground pool. A short walk from the park is a good nature walk along the shore line. There is also an exellent fish and chip shop on the way to the boat ramp. It is the best park in Tin Can bay. There is Woolworths and a local IGA. While at Tin Can bay we fed the wild hump back dolphins, the staff there are very informative and answer all your questions. A drive to rainbow Beach is well worth doing while in Tin Can.

Wonderful clean well maintained park with plenty of room wide sites, very friendly people even the permanents. Best amenities i've seen with water, power, sullage and TV connector all in one location next to your van or not far away. Will definitely be returning
