Longyard Golf Course - Tamworth NSW

The Longyard Golf Course is located at Greg Norman Drive, Hillvue Tamworth NSW. Designed by Greg Norman and situated near the Tamworth Entertainment Center the Longyard Golf Course is challenging and a delight to the eye. This 18 hole links style course is really worth adding to your "must play" courses. Hole 4 is sponsored by well know "golf-tragic" Duncan Plante who plays the course regularly. Turn left just after the Golden Guitar on the southern side of Tamworth and follow the signs. Hole 6 is a tricky Par 3 with a long water trap. The water trap before the 9th green is also particularly challenging as you either hit the green or you're in the drink - no second chances. There are some lovely homes surrounding the course. Summer temperatures can reach 45 degrees so make sure you take plenty of fluid to avoid dehydration.
