Pioneer Settlement Museum - Swan Hill VIC
Established in 1963 the
Pioneer Settlement Museum was one of the first historic outdoor museums in Australia. The Museum was developed to celebrate the pioneering spirit that was instrumental in the development of Victoria.
Many of the buildings house working displays and you can see spinning and weaving in an historic cottage, a blacksmith at work or dress in period costume to have your photo taken.
Children will love the free ride on the horse and cart or, if time permits, a cruise on the Murray River.
