Port Julia Oval (Reichenbach Memorial Park) - Port Julia SA
Port Julia Oval (Reichenbach Memorial Park) is located on the corner of Osprey Street and Julia Road Port Julia South Australia. Port Julia is 179km west of Adelaide SA. The trip takes approximately 2 hours and 12 minutes, although slower if you are towing a heavy van or large rig. The site has excellent amenities and is pet friendly. There is a BBQ and a fireplace. It is an excellent place to stay for only $7 a night. Mobile reception is very good and plenty of peace and quiet. It is only a short stroll to the beach. Don't play with the Great White Sharks.

Camping here as at 1st July 2016 is now $10 per night per site or $60 per week which is still reasonable for everything. There is a dump point and bore water. Closest drinking water to fill up is 15klm south at Port Vincent so come in full. Yes, it is pet friendly and there is now great on-site caretakers who keep the 3 loos and everything beautifully clean and tidy. Fishing, swimming and boating within walking distance. What more could you want.

A popular low cost camp,it cost us $7.00, the caretaker comes around in the arvo. The oval is large so there's enough sites. There is a toilet there but you need to be self contained. Quiet and close to the jetty for fishing. I'm not sure how long you are able to stay there.
