The owners are so super friendly, the facilities are clean and very accessible, I cant speak highly enough of the wonderful people in the shop and they make great wood fired pizza as well on a friday and saturday nite!
I will spend xmas there with family just because i believe people like this deserve to be supported!
My favorite thing though was a poster in the bathrooms that stated somewhere along the lines of "despite www. information, complaints to management will not gain you free accommodation!"
I love it, these people are a down to earth family, earning a living in a remote location, doing a dam (no pun intended ;-) ) great job with the general store shop, as well as a tackle shop, (willing to help when one's dad forgets a part for the outboard motor!) fish cleaning area, pet friendly, boat ramps, camping sites as well as bungalows... lets support them and ensure places like this continue to exist for this generation of technology mad individuals who must learn to get away from it all for a while... grey nomads who whinge and complain its not 5 star.. bugger off to the coast, you will pay for the service you want there, and its probable you still wont get it!...
