Pottsville (pop. 2000) is situated 827km north of Sydney. This charming area is ideal for a relaxing beachside holiday and has excellent local shopping and easy access to Tweed Heads and Coolangatta. Pottsville South Holiday Park is in a magnificent location beside a river inlet to the sea. There is easy walking to miles of magnificent beaches. The park is maintained very well and has excellent amenities. Cottages are available for rent and most of these have views of the river and sea. The resident managers are Tom and Therese Crotty. Have stayed here often and never had a problem. We haven't stayed in school holiday time. Lovely small park right on the water. Plenty of bike paths. Shops across the road.

We found this spot ideal, a small park in an ideal position on the water and a short walk to cafes and tavern. Lovely ocean beach nearby...
Very helpful management.
Clean and tidy.
Other family members return every year and thoroughly enjoy it.
A shame if louts did spoil a stay...but from our perspective we will use this park again, hopefully often.

Recently visited and wouldn't return. Major issues with young locals. Late night binge drinking in the area, thefts are frequent in the park. Met other people who said they would never return, apparently at christmas time quite a lot of vehicles were badly damaged from hooligans running through the park. Go somewhere else, not worth the risk or your insurance.
