The Junction Camping Ground - Nymboi-Binderay National Park NSW

Rafting is certainly the best way to fully appreciate the stunning beauty of the river, and several commercial operators conduct tours in the park. If walking is more to your taste, you can wander through a magnificent stand of tallowwood trees and coachwood rainforest at Norman W. Jolly Memorial Grove (wheelchair-accessible). Picnicking, swimming and car-based camping (not suitable for caravans) are available at Platypus Flat (unsealed; 4WD when wet) and The Junction (4WD only) on the Nymtaoida River.
Access 25 km north of Dorrigo on Moonpar Road (unsealed; 4WD when wet) off Tyringham Road or Moses Rock Road (unsealed) from the village of Cascade. Access to the northern part of the park is on Black Mountain Road via Grafton, Nymboida or Glenreagh (unsealed; 4WDonly). You can picnic and swim at this campground and it's a good spot to launch your canoe. You'll need to bring drinking water.
Getting there: This campground is off Black Mountain Road.
Facilities: picnic tables, wood barbecues, non-flush toilets Campsite is only accessible by 4wd vehicle. 448.5 km NNE of Sydney. The campsite is at the end of Junction Road, at the junction of Nymboida River and the Little Nymboida River. You will need to walk a short distance from your car to the campsite - no caravans or camper trailers. There are a total of 10 campsites.
