The owner of the pub supplies free toilets and showers at the pub and all he expects is you buy a beer or have a feed there.(best steak I had on my trip) You can camp on the bank of the river for as long as you like **Saw about 10 vehicles and vans hauled up by tractor 07/2010. Quite a good spot for a night or two.
I was told that when it rains and vehicles get stuck down near the river that they will be hauled up by tractor, at a cost of $50 each. Not sure how true this is, but be aware.
