New Italy Rest Area - New Italy NSW
The New Italy Rest Area is located 11kms south of Woodburn on the Pacific Highway. This is an excellent rest area to visit because it contains an historical museum as well as cafe and amenities. The area to the north is more suitable for large caravans and rigs. You can enter from the south to easily find a place to park. I could not find any signs prohibition overnight camping. However, if you do decide to stay here overnight you do so at your own risk.

New huge parking area at back of complex, road noise is negligible due to highway upgrade. Expansive mown area around complex. Great spot for coffee and light meal at cafe.

Very noisy. Not recommended for over night stay. Semi's all night.
