Murrurundi Caravan Park - Murrurundi NSW
Murrurundi is a small country town of 1,000 people located 309km north west of Sydney. The Murrurundi Caravan Park is in a nice setting with a backdrop of forest covered hills. The park is well maintained and spacious. Amenities are excellent. The only downside is that the park is right on the New England Highway and traffic noise is fairly constant. Bookings can be made by telephoning the park and please tell them that you have seen their photos on Caravan Park Photos.

We stayed at this park on our way to Melbourne. It was a great place to stay. Our accommodation choice was a cabin. We stayed in old railway carriage converted in to accommodation. It was comfortable with a seperate area with a bed with an electric blanket,excellent cooking facilities. The was an add on area which had two comfortable sofas and the TV. We would stay there again. The owners were very obligingly with good local knowledge.

My wife and I stayed overnight 2/10/13 and will stay there again. Very pleasant management and a relaxed atmosphere. Spacious and easy access sites.

I spent four great days at the park. It is very conveniently situated near the beautiful villages which is so scenic, especially with the surrounding mountains. The village is full of artists, and the Upstairs Art studio is amazing, as is the Pearl Red Moon gallery next door. Both are on the New England Highway in the middle of the viilage.
