BIG4 Capricorn Palms Holiday Village - Mulambin Beach QLD
The
BIG4 Capricorn Palms Holiday Village at Mulambin Beach is quite new and part of the Big4 Network. The park is beautifully laid out and had good facilities and accommodation options. The park has a nice pool and is close to the beach. Your hosts are
James, Gail & Josh Dillon. Bookings can be made by
telephoning the park and please tell the park that you found them on Caravan Park Photos. .
Please note: The photos on this page were taken in August 2005 and may not reflect the state of the park as it is in 2012.
More recent photos on this page were kindly supplied by our roving reporter Russell Barter in August 2013.

When we stayed at this park in peak season we stayed here in the month of June so when I say peak season it was winter when all the southern state visitors holiday in QLD. We do however wish to add that the staff were very helpfull as stated before, and it was a pitty we were in the 'overflow' section because it is a lovely park and the showers and toilets were clean and in good condition. I hope when we stay again at Yeppon we get to stay in a better section of the park.

It is unfortunate to hear that our guests were somewhat disappointed with their positioning in the park, as other guests really enjoyed and requested to be in that same area. Our staff members are more than happy to listen to any feedback you may have at the time of your stay to accommodate your needs where possible. Unfortunately we could not find the guests in question on our system to provide a detailed response, with that in mind I would like to provide the following information to help make your stay at BIG4 Capricorn Palms Holiday Village as easy and memorable as possible.
As we all know Easter can be a hectic time where booking months in advance for this peak time is a must to secure the site you prefer at parks in the Capricorn Coast Region. It is always a good idea when camping or staying in the area to carry a torch at night for your safety and to avoid any possible trip hazards or encounter any active night life. The most important thing to keep in mind is that we are here to help you and to ensure your stay is comfortable and relaxed, so please don’t hesitate to talk to us if there is something that needs addressing.
Thank you

We stayed here in peek season and although we booked well in advance we were put on the last site available and the site was very uneven. There seems to be an over flow section of the park and it felt as if you were parked in a paddock. The park owners did help us to level the van but the near side of the van was very high off the ground and getting up to step into the van was difficult. The toilet block was a mile away and there were no lights at night and so you had to use a torch otherwise you would sprain an ankle on uneven ground. It was disapointing but the good bit was the lovely and I mean lovely beach was waliking distance from the park.
