Morgan Riverside Caravan Park is located at Main Rd - S , Morgan. Morgan is 177km north east of Adelaide. Relax in this pleasant enviroment enjoy a round of mini golf, hire a canoe kneeboard, throw a fishing line in the river. Fire buckets available in winter wood is available for sale at the kiosk. The kiosk also stocks fishing tackle, bait the normal necessities.
The park offers a choice of on-site accommodation as well as large grassed sites, surrounded by native trees. There are 39 powered and 58 unpowered sites available for caravans, campers and motorhomes. We welcome dogs with site bookings, but pets are not allowed inside our cabins. They are a family owned operated park as such take pride in our service. Swimming Pool , Mini Golf , Canoe & Kneeboard Hire , Childrens Playground , Immaculate Amenities & Laundry , Rain Water , Blue Phone , BBQ , Well stocked Kiosk/bait, tackle etc Beautifully situated on the bank of the Murray River while in walking distance to the town centre. Stayed Sept 2014. Some literary licence in the above. There are grass power sites but there are more gravel sites then grass. Sites are drive through when there are not many in, otherwise vans are back to back. A lot of permanent holiday vans. Very few were used during our one night stay. The park is on the bank of the Murray River with plenty of trees. You need to climb the levy bank to see the river. The park is neat enough the showers/ toilets clean, good night lighting. No camp kitchen. Has a dump point next to the male toilets (it's not indicated on the park layout received at check in) did not use but presume it's operational. There is another in town if it's not. We were intending to stay longer but the park was not what we expected. On the plus side it was quite and shaded. The park has a 10 meter escarpment on the western side which protected us somewhat from the strong Westerly wind. The people where friendly on check in. The town has some interesting boat and rail history. $27 with Top Tourist park discount. Is pet friendly.
