Mission Beach Camping Area & Caravan Park - Mission Beach QLD
The Mission Beach Camping Area & Caravan Park is provided by the Cassowary Coast Regional Council. The facilities are adequate considering the inexpensive fees charged. The park has direct beach frontage and is in high demand for this reason. Bookings can be made by telephoning the Council.

This is my all time favourite place in Australia, a no fuss park, the park has changed since Cyclone Yasie, but it is still very special, the tennis court is no longer....you couldn't get any closer to the beach even if you tried, awesome..the beach is incredible to walk on, nice and firm, firm enough to ride your bicycle on in fact, so if you love a great walk this is the place for you...Great fishing close by or just wander out of your tent or van onto the beach and throw in a line...the local markets are held in the park next door, which is fantastic, local fruit and veg, plants, food, local art, a must visit..Look I could go on and on about this park...Like I said it is no fuss, no 5 star but the only place we stay when in Mission Beach..
