Kings Canyon Resort - Kings Canyon NT
The
Kings Canyon Resort is located at Luritja Road Kings Canyon. The park has 400 tourist sites and all but 328 of these are powered. The Resident Manager is Michael Sulser. Bookings can be made by
telephoning the park and please tell the park that you have seen their information on Caravan Park Photos. This page was created on the 13 May 2010.
Phil and Clare write: "This park forms part of the total Kings Canyon Resort and is located in the National Park, it has a wide variety of powered sites, unpowered and tent areas all with grass areas, as expected being in a remote locality the site fees are higher @ $38 for a powered site.
The park is very large clean and has well kept amenities, laundry, play area for the children as well as a swimming pool, although pets are permitted within the park area only and not the National park, management does advise you to keep your dog on a short leash and of a night keep it in your van.
Dingo’s are very prevalent and often will wonder through the park and are not to be approached or feed as heavy finds are in force. The park offers a chance to walk the canyon yourself or many tours are offered through the resort.
The park is situated approximately 250kms from Uluru and about the same from Alice springs and is worth a stop and visit. Be aware the park is out of all phone and email reception but if you need to these services are available at the resort at a cost."

Great park. Had a great time at the Thirsty Dingo eating pizza and listening to the entertainment. Stock up on groceries before you go, quite expensive. Diesel was $2.33 per litre when we were there. Great sunsets from the viewing platform.
