Kew has become a very quiet village now that the Pacific Highway bypass is in place. The Kew Rest Area is a first class place to stay and rest. The owner of the Steaks On Kew Restaurant told me that caravans and campervans sometimes stay overnight. If you plan to do this please let the restaurant owner know so that he is aware that you are in this area. The restaurant serves good food and the $1.99 eggs on toast breakfast is hard to beat. A pub is located nearby if you want a drink at the end of the day.
