We stayed overnight here Saturday 2 April 2016 in one of the two cabins built in 2014. We found it spotless, tidy with a full range of cooking utensils, detergents, bathroom items and a hairdryer. The sofa was the most comfortable we experienced out of 9 cabins on this particular trip, and the t.v. set sited so that we did not have to crane our necks to view the screen. The park is clean, quiet, with public barbecues nearby on the river bank and there are even adult exercise equipment items. We were pleasantly surprised at the $85/night fee. The only thing about Jeparit township which we found disappointing was that although a blue and white tourist sign pointed to the Catholic church, it no longer exists! - never mind, we came home via Horsham. I have a family link to Jeparit in that my great grand-uncle John Hastwell once owned the general store and dwelling (in 1891-1893) on the corner of Roy and Charles streets opposite Carrick's Hotel (no longer in existence) which was sold to James Menzies, the father of Sir Robert Menzies who was born in the house where John Hastwell had previously lived. In word - Jeparit Caravan Park - impressed!
