This place is a real gem, no trip up the cape would be complete without a visit and swim here. Campground features: Nestled in woodland between Canal and Eliot creeks, close to the famed scenic Eliot and Twin falls, this popular campground is an oasis for travellers.
Location: Eliot Falls campground is close to the northern boundary of Heathlands Resources Reserve, at the confluence of Canal and Eliot creeks.
Access: The campground can be reached by 4WD vehicles and off-road campervans and camper trailers only. It is not accessible for caravans or conventional buses.
Number of sites: 31 numbered sites incorporating 16 tent sites, 9 campervan or camper trailer sites and 6 commercial operator sites.
Campsites are suitable for: tents or campervans/camper trailers. Separate areas for commercial operators are also provided. Car parking is provided adjacent to each site.
Campsite surface: Dirt.
Facilities: Drinking water, hybrid toilets, picnic tables and individual fire rings.
Open fires: Allowed (except when fire bans apply) in fire rings only. Fuel stoves are recommended.
Generators: Not allowed.
Essentials to bring: Adequate food and drinking water, rubbish bags, insect repellent, screened tents or mosquito nets, a fuel stove, adequate fuel and spare parts for your vehicle. Collect firewood from along the road outside the park. Read more about things to know before you go.
