The
Hillgrove is is a small historic village located 32km east of Armidale. The town has a rich antimony mining history and is located on the edge of the Oxley Wild Rivers National Park. Sadly the town does not have a Caravan Park as it would be an excellent place to explore. The nearest caravan parks are at
Armidale. The current population is approximately 95 people. I was inspired to visit Hillgrove by my golfing buddy Gary Austin of Coffs Harbour who was raised in this area. Photos on this page were taken on 29th July 2009.
