Oxley Anchorage Caravan Park - Harrington NSW

Oxley Anchorage Caravan Park is situated directly opposite the Harrington Bowling Club and easy walking distance to shops in the main village. The park has 96 sites of which 20 are for tourists. The park has a new swimming pool and good facilities. A variety of cabins are available for rent. The park is pet friendly. The resident managers are Sean and Nicole Wighton. Small, conveniently located park opposite the local bowls club. Short walk to break wall and beach where you can go fishing. Short drive to good IGA and other shops. Short walk to fish and chip shop which offers a nice food. Park does not have many tourist sites but most have annex slabs and most are near good amenities block, camp kitchen and pool. Some cabins to hire. Permanents are situated at the rear of the park. Neat and tidy park. No play ground. A Short drive back towards high way to visit the Cattai wetlands which offers easy walking with seating, toilets and maps available at the car park. Open Friday to Monday with free admittance. Crowdy Head national park a short drive away and the town of Taree is only half hour away for all your retail needs.

Worst park I've ever stayed at. The cabin we stayed in is not worth anywhere near $140 a night. The cutlery and crockery was not even cleaned properly. And the linen we hired wasn't even clean. We found the mangers to be very rude and far from friendly. Very disappointed and will NOT be returning.

We did like this park! We'd been coming here for 9 yrs. in that time there have been 3 lots of managers run this park. Until the most recent, I would have said that the park was amongst the most kid friendly that We'd been too, which is why we'd returned for so many yrs. however the current managers seem to be intolerant of children
