We always stay at Gracemere C'Van Park when ever we travel to Rockhampton and have been doing so since 2003. The Amenities may be a little dated but we have always found them to always be clean and tidy.
They have a new BBQ Area now which should be up and running now as they were still working on it at Xmas 2014 when we last stayed there.
We have had no problem with management at any time.
We prefer to stay here as it is Dog Friendly.

one good thing we have to say about this park is that it is close to the best cookie shop in qld and best local butcher ,apart from that we would never stay at this park again /why// because the amenities have no shower curtain ,no mat all needs some maintainance ;lawn wasn't mowed when we got there still wasn't done 4 days later ;sorry but wont be back .[owner very abrupt ]

We have stayed here for the last two years on our annual grey nomad touring. It is a lovely, quiet park to stay in. The only noise is of the passing trains in the distance, not a problem at all. The owners/managers are very friendly and accommodating and we have felt very much at home here. The amenities are dated but very clean. It is in a perfect spot with a creek, ducks and other water fowl, with kangaroos over the back fence. There is a lovely old pub and a large shopping centre within 1.5 kilometres of the park, (just a nice morning walk away). The permanent residents are friendly and very houseproud. It is a lovely, relaxing and affordable place to stay, We have encountered very few children on either stay which is sometimes a bonus. It is close to Rockhampton and very close to the highway to Brisbane or to the outback of Queensland. I cannot recommend it enough.

We stay in this park every year on our way up north, park very spacious, concrete slabs, clean facilities, pool and close to shopping centre, DOG friendly, this is the only dog friendly park worth staying at in the Rockhampton area, owners are helpful

Quiet with a lovely country atmosphere, yet close enough to walk to the shopping centre in Gracemere CQ

This is a lovely park. Plenty of sites with concrete slabs. The amenities were clean as were the grounds of the park. Found the managers to be friendly and helpful.

Caravan Park facilities ok, have been travelling around Oz and have stayed in many parks. The owners of this caravan park are the most rudest and arrogant people I have ever met and should NOT be in the hospitality industry. With their attitude towards the public they do not deserve to have a business! Even the grey haired nomads are scared of them....what a joke!
