Gowrie Park Wilderness Village has four self-contained cabins accommodating up to six persons. Each cabin is appointed with a kitchenette and heating. The backpacker rooms cater for singles, families or large groups. There are 27 powered sites available for a range of vehicle sizes. Powered sites are situated near Mount Roland, north west Tasmania. Please note that only powered sites are pet friendly - not cabins and bunk rooms.

Gowrie Park is centrally located to explore all that the region has to offer including world-renowned Cradle Mountain-Lake St Clair National Park. Located at the foot of Mount Roland, a challenging climb up this majestic mountain will reward with panoramic views right out to Bass Strait on a clear day. 

Gowrie Park is 40 minutes’ drive from Devonport and 10 minutes’ from Sheffield, on the road to Cradle Mountain. Located 35 minutes from Devonport and the Spirit of Tasmania ferry. Nestled amongst the beautiful, peaceful mountains of Mt Roland, Mt Van Dyke and Claude.
