This eco park is a great place to break the Nullarbor crossing, especially now the Ceduna side entrance road has been re sheeted (as of July 2015). This makes the entrance road approximately 50% sealed and 50% unsealed. It’s a very basic park with power, low pressure water and minimal sullage but never the less it is a charming bush camp. The amenities are old/new but very clean and well maintained.
This park gives regulars respite from the weather and access to some great fishing. The Jetty is in itself a great fishing spot, we saw some big fish caught by other whilst we were there. The Staff are great, Tony actually backed our caravan into its spot and his lovely partners is chatty and friendly and serves up some great fish and chips.
The only down side is there are no dump point in the camp or the entire town. Using the toilets as a dump point is forbidden as some people still do not use eco friendly chemicals and it costs big money to redo the septic tanks,
It is a fisherman's paradise and for us a great break from the Nullabor trip. The town has a significant history (sign boarded) which is slowly being consumed by the giant sand hills.
