Emerald Beach Holiday Park - Emerald Beach NSW

Emerald Beach (population 1,700 is situated 579km north of Sydney. The Emerald Beach Holiday Park is a beautiful park set in lovely bushland which affords it a distinct sense of privacy. The facilities in the Park are outstanding and great care has been taken in design and layout. One of the nice touches is the free pancake breakfast put on each week. The park has a path that leads to Emerald Beach. The onsite manager is Liz Lamond. Bookings can be made by telephoning the park and please tell the park that you have seen their photos on Caravan Park Photos.
We stayed at the park for 10 days and the staff were very helpful to any of our needs, which weren't very may because it has all you need for a great holiday. One of the local ducks even layed an egg for us on the lawn and I had that for breakfast as well as a fish I caught on the surf beach. I would recomend the park to anyone as it is a great park to relax or to go site seeing and there is plenty of that to do. We will be going back there for another holiday in the near future. I would recommend the park to anyone.  Graeme Eagle, Brisbane QLD.

This park is situated right next to Emerald beach and has walking access to it. It is a lovely flat beach good for surfing or fishing. The park is full of trees and wildlife. All roads are sealed and the amenities have been fully upgraded. There are 2 amenities blocks only one of which has a laundry and the clothes lines are situated at the amenities without a laundry which is a little strange. There is a good shaded pool and 3 BBQ huts and 2 camp kitchens. The unpowered section is under lots of trees and by the creek but is a bit of a walk to the amenities. There are ensuite sites available. The powered sites some have concrete slabs, most have green matting and a few have just grass/dirt are mostly shaded. They are not all close to amenities. The cabins in the park range from basic to modern. The park is very family orientated which is fine but for traveling couples it can be noisy and annoying. Kids are allowed to ride bikes and scooters and they tear around the park which can be unsafe for other park users. Therefor we would not recommend a site near the cabins as they were full of families at the time we stayed.
