Rotary Park Free Camping - Echuca VIC
Rotary Park is situated at 17 Rose Street, Echuca. Echuca is a glorious town on the banks of the Murray River 212km north of Melbourne. The park is managed by the Rotary Club and full time caretakers live on site. The park provides free camping for self contained RVs. There is a donation box near the dump site where you can contribute to the work being undertaken in the park. There is plenty of room near the main oval and also down beside the river which appeals to most campers. The park is approximately 4km from the town centre and in a quiet location. Pets are welcome but dogs must be on a leash. There are no amenities so your vehicle must be self contained. Photos on this page were taken on the 4th February 2016.

There are now two dump points and the old one can still be used by big rigs. The old one is now kept locked however it can be opened up for visitors by the on site caretakers on request. Use of the new dump point is encouraged as it is connected directly to town sewage, whereas the old one has a holding tank that must be pumped out when full, which obviously costs the Rotary Club $$$.

The Dump has been repositioned, and now cannot be used by Big Rigs!!!!!
