Dunolly Caravan Park - Dunolly VIC
The Dunolly Caravan Park is located at 46 Desmond Street, Dunolly directly opposite the railway station. The park has 29 tourist sites and 25 of these are powered. This is not a large park but what it lacks in size it makes up for in friendliness. The camp kitchen is the social centre of the park and I get the impression that everyone is welcome here and that you can be assured of a good time. A large pond is at the centre of the park so most powered sites have water views. The park is pet friendly. We spent two nights here over a weekend in August.
The social gathering on Fridays around the pizza oven is great. Make sure you bring your favourite ingredients to make a pizza! The amenities are superb as they have just been renovated. Hosts are great and really friendly. The park is close to the rail line so the early freight trains are a major negative. Earplugs are essential. Otherwise nice quiet park and a great place to visit.
