Dubbo City Holiday Park - Dubbo NSW

Pet Friendly

The Dubbo City Holiday Park is situated an easy 2km walk from the Dubbo Post Office on Whylandra Street. The park is quite spacious and has excellent amenities. The park has 92 sites of which 55 are powered and 10 ensuite. A good selection of cabin and cottage accommodation is available. The park has some nice BBQ areas and all roads throughout are sealed. Staff are friendly and helpful. Whylandra Street is fairly busy so some traffic noise may be experienced. The park has tight security, particularly at night. A leash free pet area is also available. Dubbo City Holiday Park is a member of the Top Tourist Parks Network. Bookings can be made by telephoning the park and please tell the park that you have seen their photos on Caravan Park Photos. Photos on this page were taken on 13th June 2006. More recent photos were kindly supplied by our roving reporters Russell Barter, Sherallee Schubert and Ross Bignell in August 2013.

Stayed here for the second time. I like this park because it has a secure fence around it and the gates are closed at night. You can still use the pin pad to get in and out. Many drive through sites which are much appreciated. Amenities blocks are modern and clean. Most sites have slabs but there are some with grass if you prefer. Your dog is very welcome at this park. Some cabins allow dogs as well. Ensuites also available. The non powered sites are conveniently located near the camp kitchen. The check in staff were wonderful. Only down side is a bit of road noise. But close to the city centre wher you can visit Old Dubbo Gaol and short drive to the Zoo. I had a nice stay here

This park is now pet friendly, not only for sites, but a few cabins have enclosed areas and kennels, of course the pets are not permitted inside the cabins. I am posting a couple of photos of the pet friendly cabins.

We have just stayed here and the park is really nice. We stayed in an ensuite site, all of which are drive through and most of the sites are drive through to make life much easier. The park allows dogs too. The park is very secure with high fences all around and a good entrance gate. The staff are helpful and the there are 2 ammenities blocks, a camp kitchen, bbq area and a dump point. The park is in walking distance to the Gaol and the main street. The gaol is well worth a look and so is the Western Plains Zoo. We had a nice stay in Dubbo and would like to return again and stay at this park again.
