Dry Creek Camp - Deua National Park: If you cross the river here it is the start of the Merriccumbene fire trail,it is very long and steep, you will need a good 4WD with a low range gear box cause you are going to need it.Do NOT attempt it during or after recent heavy rain it,s a wilderness, area and a long walk out if you get stuck half way along. We came from home along the Coondella Fire trail right onto sugarloaf rd,then onto Merricumbene f/trail and this campsite, took around 4 hrs steady driving.About 40 -50 klms.
