I lived in the caravan park during the building of Dartmouth Dam my parents were the caretakers of the park from 1978 to 1981.I can remember when there was not 1 vacant site, toilets where cleaned everyday, grass mowed weekly, rubbish taken every Saturday. I going back after 15 years of not seeing it I think I will be in for a shock by the reports I read.

What was once a beautiful thriving caravan park in a magnificent region is now an absolute disgrace toilet facilities cleaned by its travellers as no sign of any managers. Unable to pay so left business card on front seat of supposed managers ute as we tried to pay from the time we arrived until we left. Needs new owners to realise it's true potential. Very disappointed for the rest of the town

This park would have to be the most mis managed park in Victoria.it needs some new owners to breath new life in it and bring it up to what it could be. With the natural beauty of the area it really could be and deserves to be a besutiful park to spend time in. It is very run down and obviously no one at the moment has much love for it. It is almost impossible to even contact anyone to book a site or cabin which is a shame. It needs some love.

Had a booking for the weekend and was very disappointed with the facility. No hot water in our cabin or in the amenities block with one toilet out of order. The amenities were not cleaned once while we where their and had to boil the kettle to wash the dishes. Look at the beautiful pool in the photos, well it is now green, with the weather we had on the weekend we would have spent many hours in the pool. What a disappointed for Dartmouth as it is the only caravan park around. Rating out of 10. Zero. Owners not even around to make a complaint!

I visited the Dartmouth Caravan Park over the weekend and was appalled in the condition of the facility.
Was considering making a booking, but decided not too as the park does not look anything like the profile pictures on your web site which has not been updated since 2010.
The whole facility is very run down.
