We have not stayed here but spent a lot of time enjoying the scenery. Its spotlessly clean, cafe meals are good and inexpensive. Hosts are real country people who love a chat and very happy to provide directions places to visit. Gold fossicking nearby but you need to purchase a licence - only a few dollars.Not a place to visit in summer but a good stop on the way to Cooktown.
