Gilgandra Rest Area - Gilgandra NSW

Gilgandra Rest Area is located at Newell Hwy at Gilgandra.  This is a large area that contains the town's historical museum. Unfortunately no camping is permitted in this area but it is a nice place to stay for a while.  The Driver Reviver service normally set up in this area.  If you have a large rig you should stop on the highway ahead of the rest area to ascertain where you will park you rig if you take it off the highway.
