Cummins Community Caravan Park - Cummins SA
The Cummins Community Caravan Park is located at 62 Bruce Terrace Cummins. One of the things I like about South Australia is that nearly every little town has a caravan park of some kind. Cummins (population 800) is good example of a small town with a welcoming park.
Set in rich farmland the town was named after a member of the South Australian House of Assembly, William Patrick Cummins. If you enjoy the sound of trains near your camping spots then Cummins will not disappoint. Wheat trains are a regular feature of the landscape.
When you get to Cummins you go to the B & K Deli (also know as the Cummins Information Center) to get the keys or telephone 08 8676 2011 and please let the park know that you have seen their photos on Caravan Park Photos. The park is pet friendly.

We have stayed in Cummins Caravan Park for the last 6 nights. It has been lovely as a base to visit Coffin Bay, Tumby Bay, Port Lincoln and the Lower Eyre Peninsula. The amenities are 4 separate ensuite facilities. You may have to share. Lovely grassy sites. The park is about 1 kilometre out of town centre. Depending on the time of the year, there might be a lot of grain road trains and grain trains on the railtracks that run through the town. A lovely town. Highly recommended.!
