Cunningham Caravan Park - Coolah NSW
Coolah is a delightful town of 950 people situated 388km north west of Sydney. I took these photos of Cunningham Caravan Park at 7am on a frosty winter morning when the temperature was -4C. The park has 41 sites of which 29 are tourist. Tourist sites are in a separate area from permanents. The park is in a quiet location and is well maintained with good amenities. I was surprised to find that television reception in this park was perfect, probably due to the fact that Coolah is a technology clever town and they probably have a local booster. This park is a good place to relax for a few days. The resident managers are Feliks and Gizela Slacek. We are spebdibg the three days on the long weekend 2013 at the park and found it clean, tidy and it is operated by people who care about you and the park. The daily Happy Hour is a great way to meet fellow travellers and learn about other great caravan parks or places to stay or visit. Currently the owners are building new cabins, on-suits sites etc but that did not affect our peaceful stay. Wal and Sue Thompson
