Comet Accommodation Park is located on the coner of Capricorn Highway and Corio Street Comet is a small town situated 230km west of Rockhampton and between Blackwater and Emerald. There are 5 powered and 2 unpowered sites available for caravans, campers and motorhomes.

The park covers a small area and there are modular huts for the miners in the area. Powered sites were $25 a night with a $10 key deposit. Portable amenities. Clean and quiet with about 6 to 8 caravan sites only. The park is run by Bernic and Peter who are lovely people. The Ludwig Leichhardt Tree Marker is opposite. We rate this park 5 out of 10.
