The Coleambally Caravan Park is located at Kingfisher Avenue, Coleambally. This is a quiet little Caravan Park in a bushland setting. The park has only a limited number of powered sites and would be good for a stopover. Four self-contained budget cabins are also available. The park is pet friendly.
Your friendly hosts are Val & Garry Kruger who tell me that the birdlife in the park is very prolific. "We currently have a flock of Superb Parrots living here and they can be seen each morning 'having a shower' under our sprinklers, 'bathing' in our bird baths, or foraging for seeds on our lawns. We also have less rare parrots such as Rosellas, Bluebonnets and red-rumped parrots, although in lesser numbers. Several other birds such as Grey-crowned Babblers, Blue-faced honeyeaters, Apostlebirds etc. also have made their home here".
The park currently has two kangaroos who have taken up semi-permanent residency. They can often be seen lounging around on the lawn under the shady trees, or going for a leisurely hop around the park.
Bookings can be made by telephoning the park and please tell the park that you have seen their photos on Caravan Park Photos. Photos on this page were taken on the 4th September 2009.
