The Charlton Travellers Rest Ensuite Caravan Park is located behind 45 High Street in Charlton. This park is a community project with Buloke Shire Council and the Victorian State Government. It provides an excellent benchmark against which other small communities can measure their caravan facilities for tourists. Just check in and follow instructions at the park for obtaining keys. Absolutely great place. We are in a self contained motorhome and parked at the rear of the park. Lovely surrounds that are immaculately kept. Pet friendly and the caretakers are great.
We have been travelling a while around the country and this rates as one of the best places we have stayed.
A credit to the town of Charlton and all those involved with the park.
Orher towns and shires should take note of what can be done.

Great place to stay and have a chat with Phil Brock. He will talk all day re cars and footy. Very relaxing environment.

Absolutely Sensational! Well done Charlton on a fantastic precinct, clean neat tidy beautif family friendly, spacious, beautiful, the cheapest cleansest stop we have had between Broken Hill and Gippsland - a hot flowing shower - Big Thumbs up!
