Had a warm welcome and a great stay at this Caravan Park. I was traveling on the rail trail in a cart pulled by 2 mules accompanied by a pack mule and a dog. No probs booking ahead and getting permission for my animals to stay. Pleasing to have a wheelbarrow and shovel provided so I could pick up the manure easily for manager to use in his garden. Cook house and bathroom facilities all clean and imaginatively decorated. Everything useful provided. Attractive landscaping. Lovely to sit and watch the Tambo River flowing past. Lots of native birds to watch. Very relaxing and happy stay - thank you! Happy to return when next in the locality.

Would stay there again except for the rude manager. We don't need to be lied to, spied on and spoken to so inappropriately. Is there a chamber of commerce or a similar group in Bruthen? If so they need to know about the business they are missing out on. 8 of us stayed for the weekend recently and we met up with 7 other friends who were staying too.We all loved the brewery, the pub, the cafes and even the op shop and yes we all spent up, but we won't be back to stay with our vans. What a shame!

stayed in this park queen birthday weekend for 2 years running !! Very difficult to contact to firstly make a booking, then always told how extremely busy they are on this particular weekend, after requesting a particular site firstly told the site was booked out on the first visit , and then following year told the site was unavailable because they were waiting on an electrician to repair the power funny as the same bag was still on pole as was the previous year and nobody showed to camp on the site the previous time , we got told how extremely busy both years when the campground both times was half empty !!!! Oh but he did say he had a lot of people pull out and not show up seems very strange . We also enquired as to having our fire, which we were aloud the previous year but this years seems regulations had changed and you are no longer aloud fires!!! But strangely enough he can burn off piles of leaves around the park, after being stalked all weekend very disappointingly we now will be looking for somewhere else to spend our queens birthday weekends

Tried to book site (non Powered) 2 Adults 4 children $70 per night Toooooo Expensive
Asked to operator to review their prices and was abused over the phone by the rude operator
We have travelled all around Australia and found this operator to be the rudest so far

Great park, fantastic atmosphere, brilliant camp kitchen, lovely touches in the ladies bathroom, hand cream, perfume, flowers, very nice. Wally, the caretaker does a great job for the park. $35 is standard site costs for the area, didn't think it was exorbitant.

Lovely park BUT ...too expensive at $35 per night for a powered site !!!!!! There are cheaper parks in the area. (November 2013)
