A very quiet park in bush land setting. It can be accessed via the ferry at $5 per vehicle or through the town of Wardel. However, if you are towing its not recommended to use the ferry because the ramp is quite steep and our tow bar hit the ramp without the van!. The park is found off a sealed road and check in parking is good. There is a kiosk at the check in office for take away foods. As you enter the park there a many modern clean cabins to hire all set on sealed roads. All have car ports. There is one for wheel chair access. There is also 3 permanent tents to hire. For caravaners there is slab sites with power and water as well as bush type camping sites. About half the park is set up for bush camping which is so peaceful and perfect for a relaxed get away. However the bush camping area is a long way to the amenities but a new one has been built for closer access as well as the original amenities block by the pool. The pool is not fancy and there is a kids pool as well and it is set on wooden deck with chairs and is clean and well maintained. There is a kids playground and BBQ areas and a massive camp kitchen. There is also walking access to the nearby beach. The camp kitchen is huge and well equipped but is a distance from the camping area. There are recycle bins as well as garbage bins throughout the park. The amenities are basic but clean and well maintained. The each block has a laundry. There is also a separate bathroom for wheel chair access. All in all a lovely quiet park to get away from it all but you don't have to go without anything to get it.
