Anakie Gemfields Caravan Park - Anakie QLD

Anakie Gemfields Caravan Park is on Richardson Street and features the giant sapphire at its entrance. Anakie is located just off the Capricorn Highway, in the Central Queensland Gemfields, 309km west of Rockhampton and 375km east of Longreach. Emerald, the Central Highlands Regional Centre, is just 43km east of Anakie. Anakie is an ideal spot to break your journey or use as a base to explore the many tourist attractions of the Central Highlands and surrounds.

The pet friendly park offers a range of accommodation options from brand new fully self-contained units, budget cabins, and powered and unpowered caravan/motorhome/camp sites. There is a camp kitchen. Sapphire fossicking buckets and bags of wash are available with all equipment provided. The Park’s kiosk stocks the essentials and offers a gas bottle refill service.

The park is opposite the railway line so train buffs will find this an added benefit of staying here. The park is small and friendly.
