Forges Beach No 1 - Yarrawonga VIC
Forges Beach No 1 is situated close to Forges Bend Yarrawonga Victoria. Yarrawonga is located on Lake Mulwala 303km north east of Melbourne. Forges Beach No 1 is a very popular camping spot not only for its natural beauty but also because of its close proximity to Yarrawonga. It is very easy to drive into town for supplies and to attend to other errands. The river appears quite calm near the beach but be aware that strong currents are often unexpected. There is plenty of room along the river bank for RVs and the ground is quite flat. Clean amenities are available. After you enter Forges Bend via a cattle grid follow the sign "Forges Track No 1" which is 100 meters beyond the entrance. Photos on this page were taken on the 10th February 2016.
