Yarck Recreation Reserve - Yarck VIC
Yarck Recreation Reserve is located in Goodear Road Yarck. Yarck is a small village on the Maroondah Highway 156km north east of Melbourne. The Recreation Reserve is one street back from the highway so traffic noise should not be a major issue. There is plenty of room in Goodear Lane to turn and park a van or motor home. The Reserve has amenities, sheltered BBQ area and a playground. If you plan to stay overnight then you can park on the road or open a gate and move into the reserve. Yarck has a nice coffee shop and is worth a visit. Please support the local community if you stop here. Dogs are not permitted in the playground and must be kept on a leash at all times. Please note that the Yarck Recreation Reserve will be unavailable for camping on Friday 26th and Saturday 27th May due to a horse event. We would request that all campers vacate the venue by 12noon on Friday 26th. Camping will be available again anytime on the Sunday 28th.

Just be wary that these grounds are home base for equestrian clubs- so if camping stay to the tennis court side as much as possible as multiple times through the year there’s events with up to 60 horse floats and arenas are pegged on the oval.
