Barradale Rest Area - Yannarie River WA
Barradale Rest Area is located on the North Wesdt Coastal Highway at Yannarie River in Western Australia. Yannarie River is 1,426km north of Perth. Lots of wide open spaces with plenty of room for everyone. You have room to move. The surface is gravel which can get a bit dusty at times. If you do stay here please be respecting of others and do not intrude on their space or privacy. There are few things more annoying than being hemmed in when there is lots of room available. One of the nice treats of this area is that a Burger Bus is available 7 days a week. The maximun stay is 24 hours.

We do like it here but the facilitys are shocking something needs to be done about this

We have camped here on three occasions when travelling through this area in 2009,2013 and 2014. It is a very large site with plenty of shady trees and room to make camp away from everyone else if you want or far away from the road and river bridge. There is a modern dump point and good toilets available. There is also a shade sale and a board that shows the history related to this site. The river bed has always been dry when we have visited and cattle roam freely in the area....even wandering through the vans at night....but no problems encountered in three visits. Can definitely recommend this area for camping out.
